Innovation is an advancement made by man through advancement and improvement of gadgets to a more progress and make strides item.

In other words, ICT penetrates our daily lives even social activities, and it is an innovation that propels society forward. Furthermore, having internet access and being able to do things with a few clicks has made my life more efficient and manageable. However, the negative effects of it to myself also exist. The use of ICT is favorable to me, but the damaging effects I encounter are inevitable. Several instances wherein it captivated me in addiction, and also building up a fake / virtual persona of myself. It almost completely detaches me from who I really am, and it isn't healthy for my existence. Moreover, health related issues started to arise due to high exposure. Nonetheless, determining them and managing an efficient solution will help ease these cons out.

Moving on, concerning the effects of ICT on society, it is a transition from an industrial to a network economy. E-commerce is a result of the network economy. It allows users to buy and sell products or services based on electronic systems on internet. This innovation is a benchmark for measuring not only economic success, but also the development of a knowledge society. Promoting the growth of a knowledge society is a method used by governments to enhance local, regional, and national economies. Clearly, the consequences of ICT interact with a knowledge society and economic development. Additionally, ICT doesn't also contribute to this industry. The education sector often uses ICT as it helps educators and students for an effective delivery of learning. The acquisition of information on the Internet are extremely vital is at it helps them for academic purposes.

Overall, ICT has numerous effects, and the society. To be more particular, it refers to wide areas of quality of life, business operation, working style, economic development, and societal stabilization. However, the results could be both favorable and detrimental. We must recognize the good effects of ICT on people and society. At the same time, we must guard against the negative effects of ICT, such as information overload and digital divide.
